Attention All Rocky Mountain Cigar Festival Friends, Fans, and Partners: What You Need to Know About Our Event in Regards to the COVID-19 Coronavirus
The RMCF is still set to take place on Saturday, August 29th 2020 at the Omni Interlocken in Broomfield, Colorado. We are aware of the current situation with the COVID-19 Coronavirus locally and globally and will continue to monitor it in the coming months before the festival. With months until our event we are unsure of what the landscape will be regarding the COVID-19 Coronavirus on the day of the festival.
If the Rocky Mountain Cigar Festival is cancelled, all ticket sales will be refunded. Refunds will only occur if the festival is cancelled.
The safety of our attendees, staff, and partners will be our priority in this determination. We will follow the guidelines set forth by the CDC, WHO, and local government and health agencies.
From the CDC website, “It is not yet known whether weather and temperature impact the spread of COVID-19. Some other viruses, like the common cold and flu, spread more during cold weather months but that does not mean it is impossible to become sick with these viruses during other months. At this time, it is not known whether the spread of COVID-19 will decrease when weather becomes warmer. There is much to learn about transmissibility, severity, and other features associated with COVID-19 and investigations are ongoing."
With the United States and global community working on gathering information and fighting the virus, we hope to have a clearer picture heading into the festival. We will continue to provide updates as information becomes available.
